APPLYING
There is no deadline for applications for the BA (Hons) Dance Theatre or the MA Dance Performance/Transitions Dance Company. However there are a limited number of places available for the auditions and once these are full no further applications will be accepted. We recommend therefore early applications for these programmes.
For other programmes (except Pilates Teacher Training Programme, the Studio Teachers Bridging Programme and the Postgraduate Certificate: Dance in Community) the application deadline is 2 July 2010. The Postgraduate Certificate: Dance in Community has a deadline of 28 May 2010.
The next intake of the Pilates Teacher Training Programme is June 2010 with an application deadline of March 2010.
The next intake of the Studio Teachers Bridging Programme is January 2010 with an application deadline of October 2009.
Competition for places on our programmes is high and you should apply early to avoid disappointment. Once a programme is full, applications will no longer be accepted, even if they arrive before the official deadline.
You need to fill out an application form, indicating your choice of programme. You should complete all the sections of the form to let us know about your experience and qualifications. You need to explain fully why you are applying for your chosen programme and what you consider this course offers you.

After submitting your completed form, your application will be reviewed. If you are successful at this stage you will be invited to an audition and/or interview. This year the audition dates are:

16 + 18 + 19 February 2010
13 + 15 + 16 April 2010
Postgraduate Certificate: Dance in Community

* Please note that all Masters level candidates should send their CV/Resume, candidates for the MA Choreography and Dance Theatre: The Body in Performance should also submit a video including the following:
an excerpt of a solo
an excerpt of a group piece
an excerpt of a rehearsal, workshop or class in which you are an active participant.
A commentary on the choreographic work should also be included which describes your artistic process and the solutions found to any artistic problems.
