CREEKSIDE SUMMER COLLEGE
The Creekside Summer College provides summer activities that are accessible to the local young people of Deptford Greenwich New Cross and Brockley, with week long courses aimed at 8 – 12 year olds and 13 – 17 year olds. Linking up with two other organisations on Creekside – the Creekside Education Trust and APT (the art gallery) – courses focus on dance, design in costume and scenery and digital photography. The different art forms use the inspiration of the local environment and Deptford Creek as a stimulus, and courses interact supporting each other and coming together on the last afternoon for a sharing in our Studio Theatre.
