Workshops
Belinda Lawley
Workshops are taught by our highly experienced team of dance teachers and can be provided for schools, colleges and other arts / community organisations.
Workshops are devised in consultation with class teachers / requesting person. They take place in our award winning building enabling visitors to experience dancing in a professional studio and Higher Education Institute. Workshops are fun and informative and can be:
Aimed at primary, secondary, adult, special needs and community groups
Introductory sessions to contemporary / creative dance
Related to the content of current GCSE / A level syllabus
The Education and Community Programme work closely with the Laban Theatre and often provide workshops in collaboration with visiting professional dance companys.

Taster Days for Young People
The Education and Community Programme run days for school groups comprising of A level, AS level and keen GCSE dance students. The days are ideal for those who are considering full time training in contemporary dance or those who would like to know more about Higher Education and careers in the dance sector.
These are very popular, so booking early is advised by contacting Louise Jardine at l.jardine@laban.org
