Laban Pilates is an approach that works from the inside out.
Pilates is a movement system designed to restore the body to balance.

Movement sequences are taught with a focus on individual need whilst integrating the whole body.

I do Pilates at Laban because the teachers are knowledgeable about
how the body works. Fellow students vary from dance students, to
professional dancers, to people with back, knee or other health
issues, to retirees looking for do-able yet challenging exercise.
This gives me a huge range of examples in devising my own solutions
to movement problems. Most important, it's fun, and the sense of
play in the studio is something I really value!
