MPA CONFERENCE

Friday 13 June 2008
Laban, London SE8 3DZ
This event draws upon a body of knowledge known as Movement Pattern Analysis (MPA) as developed and applied over the last six decades. MPA focuses on core motivations and individual patterns of decision-making, based on the systematic analysis of non-verbal behaviour. It was developed as a unique discipline by Warren Lamb in the 1940s and 50s, building upon the pioneering groundwork of Rudolf Laban and Frederick C. Lawrence.
"The techniques...are extremely valuable in providing insights into management behavior and management style. It is not always easy to see oneself in context, and an increasing awareness must be an important element in improving management capability."
Professor Sir James Ball,
Former Principal, London Business School Former Chairman, Legal & General Plc. / IBM UK Pensions Trust Ltd.
The workshop – which will be highly interactive and include a significant element of experiential learning – will be led by Warren Lamb, founder of MPA, and James McBride, a leading MPA-Consultant and European co-ordinator of MPA training.
