SHIBATA, Ami
Ami came to England to study dance at the performing arts school in 1999. During her training, she suffered from many injuries which caused her to stop dancing. She was introduced to Pilates by her physiotherapist and found it very beneficial for her recovery. Ami decided to take up Pilates to help others through similar situations.
She finished training at Laban in 2008. Ami is very thankful to be given the opportunity to teach in the Laban Pilates studio. Now she is also working in many studios in London. She has also just qualified as a Reflexologist in 2009. Ami is going to study in complementary therapy training as a massage therapist.
