This programme will foster your personal and professional development, and nurture your practice and understanding of dance, whatever your age, background or experience.
You will gain a strong foundation in dance and build upon your interests, experiences and abilities. Areas of study are offered, as relevant, at introductory level and more advanced levels to allow you to develop your skills appropriately.
Full time: 10 Months
Part time: 20 Months

You will be assessed in each component of study by continuous assessment and practical or written assignments.
The programme caters for people with a variety of experience and backgrounds, and the entry requirements reflect this. Professional (not necessarily dance) experience, a first degree or other relevant qualifications are accepted and you must show strong motivation to undertake a dance studies programme to further your professional development. English Language Competency requirements also apply

Core studies are offered in contemporary dance technique, choreography and
choreological studies. You will also be able to choose from a range of electives covering a variety of practical and contextual areas, which may include:

If you are a full time student you may take up to 17 x 1.5 hour sessions per week and if part time 9 x 1.5 hour sessions per week.
