ADDITIONAL EVENTS
During the two weeks a programme of social events takes place at Laban, these are included in the price of Summer School.
A welcome reception at the end of the first day, offering a chance to meet and socialise with others on the course.
Performances in the Bonnie Bird Theatre
A session on Injury Prevention for Dancers by Laban’s resident physiotherapist
An opportunity to find out about full-time training courses at Laban with special sessions with programme leaders
A party for participants at the end of the first week (Additional costs may apply)
Informal performances of work created during the summer school by creative classes in Youth Choreography, Physical Theatre, and Choreography.
A sharing on the last afternoon when technique classes will have the option of showing some of the material they have learnt over the fortnight.
Summer School students are able to book appointments throughout the fortnight with Laban’s Physiotherapist and Massage Therapist. We also have a full equipped Pilates studio on site which offers one and a half hour appointments. Summer School students can book a massage or physio treatment or Pilates through our receptionist, and reduced prices are offered for throughout the Summer School course.

Our Library offers the largest and most varied open access specialist research collection on dance and related subjects in the UK, covering many aspects of dance in a variety of formats and languages. Summer School students have the opportunity to use the library for reference purposes throughout the fortnight. Our library also has internet access for students to use.
